Boston-born and now Lisbon-based Producer & DJ M.O.O.N. presents his powerful and atmospheric “Come! See!!” album – the first ‘M.O.O.N.’ LP in nearly 5 years.
Released on 18 May, M.O.O.N. describes ‘Come! See!!’ as «a therapy session in album form», as he re-opens the M.O.O.N. chapter of his life, exploring new directions and old processes to present a look at how he has evolved in the decade since the first MOON EP, which became a cult classic following its inclusion in the ‘Hotline Miami’ computer game.
This work demonstrates the particular way of understanding the sound of Indian, located at the antipodes of the commercial, of the generic, of what works: what it does is, on the contrary, a kind of unstable magma of pulsations and radiances, of melodic and blurred sketches. textures, pursuing a serene, spiritual, almost ascetic expression. All these languages and influences dialogue in this album, creating new, different and highly evolved sound organisms.
‘Come! See!!’ leaves nothing in the way and confirms the mission that electronic music has always had: to play with the present and move towards the unknown, beyond entertainment.
