Comprised of eight sounds masterfully crafted and interwoven by the Toulouse-based artist, Gibb Street LP takes the listener on an artfully curated journey through laid-back downtempo sounds, euphoric and uplifting deep house vibes. Also accompanied by remixes by Heno Heno and GRiNCH, which are absolutely mesmerizing.
The songs that are recorded on this album demonstrate the particular way of understanding Naconda’s sound, located at the opposite end of what is commercial, what works, what works: what it does is, on the contrary, a kind of unstable magma of pulsations and glows, with melodic traces and blurred textures, pursuing a serene, spiritual, almost ascetic expression. All those languages and influences from which he drew dialogue on this record, creating new, different and highly evolved sound organisms.
