We have the pleasure of interviewing the independent Melodic Techno label: Esoteric Records, founded by Soul Alchemist and Rafa Lutz, later joined by Murilo Fco and Obscure Sense. This has been the result. Enjoy it!
Hi ! Where can we find you right now? How did you start your day?
You can find the label in Instagram, Beatport, Facebook, Youtube, and all streaming and digital stores.
When did the idea of starting a project start to take shape? Has it always been something you wanted to do?
It was always a dream to have a record label for me and my friends. It all started as a party label and podcast show. After many years, the label came to be and we had a big beginning since its launch. We are very happy with our releases and artists so far. The future looks very promising.
How would you define the sound of your latest work? What is the concept behind?
Our latest works have been defined as very melodic, esoteric and unique. We are trying to come up with a different sounds and embracing news characteristics to the label at the moment with our next VA that will be released by the end of the year.
What artists are you interested in these days?
We are loving Mila’s Journee, EKDK, Obscure Sense, Rafa Lutz, Murilo Fco, Antonela Giampietro, Soul Alchemist, Lauren Mia, among others…
How do you manage to combine such disparate genres? How do you manage to give them unity and harmony? What do they have in common for you?
Our style is mostly characterized by progressive house and melodic techno. We are planning to incorporate organic and afro within our next releases; all surrounded by an esoteric meaning behind it.
Can you tell us something about your current or future projects?
Our next VA will count with many awesome artists like EKDK, Th May, Kobbaia, Siddharma, Hencke, Aspeckt and others.
