A: Currently at my work desk! Getting through my daily grind
When did the idea of starting a DJ project start to take shape? Has it always been something you wanted to do?
A: it truly started around 2017 for me, Music and performing has always been a part of my life, but always through the medium of live performance with my bands or solo projects
How would you define the sound of your latest work? What is the concept behind?
A: Bouncy AF! My last project “Stay Fresh” is a blend of all the favorite elements ive enjoyed in Dance music this past year, it’s the approach of less is more, but chasing that nuance that can make a track so special.
What artists are you interested in these days?
A: Chris Lake, Dj Fronter, Moon Boots, Nikki Nair, I really love changing up the sounds daily, I want all the influence I can get
How do you manage to combine such disparate genres? How do you manage to give them unity and harmony? What do they have in common for you?
A: its finding the commonalities between genre’s, understanding what elements work cohesively (either through having similar rhythmic feels, or finding a call and response between motifs from each genre)
How would you define your sound?
A: Latin, Funky, Groovy, Heavy
Can you tell us something about your current or future projects?
A: Currently working on a few different things, ranging from Ravey disco, to bouncy latin, deep House vibes colliding with minimal latin tech grooves
