Bestia Sonus join us today on Who Music Magazine ahead of their recent release «Friday». Lets find out more about these enimatic artists.
Hi there ! Where can we find you right now? How did you start your day?
Hi!
I live in Turkey now, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
Beautiful country, beautiful people!
The day started with a cup of coffee and reading the novel-antiutopia «WE» by the Russian writer Yevgeny Zamyatin.
By the way this novel was once inspired by Orwell’s genius novel «1984».
When did the idea for your new record take shape?
1.5 years ago – when we did «Friday» with our partners
How would you define the sound of your latest work? What is the concept behind it?
I wanted that sound to contain both the animal passion and the intelligence of a vividly living person.
An intertwining of the senses and the mind, which sometimes conflict and sometimes become one, to then push away from each other again.
Who is inspiring you most right now?
Life, and the people I meet and have in my life.
Music – there are a lot of amazingly talented musicians making very cool music right now. I still have a lot to learn from them!
Where would you say your sound sits, firmly in one genre or a mixture?
My sound is somewhere between my heart and my lower abdomen where a throbbing chill of passion comes from ))))
How do you see the music scene at the moment?
It seems to me that now some genres are closely intertwined with others… Something is coming back, something is being born…
I like the fact that the conservative division into genres is going away…
Tell us something about your current or future projects?
We have a few tracks ready to be released, and I’m thinking about the scripts for the music videos.
The music and the visuals can work very well together.
